Step 1: Remove Chiller Vents and Thumb Nuts

Step 2: Remove Rear Cover
|

Step 3: Locate & Remove Fuse

Locate the fuse holder on the back of the electrical box, near the base of the tub.
-
Look for a black circular cap (about the size of a penny) labeled “FUSE.”
-
Use a quarter, penny, or small flat tool to fit between the tub and the electrical box.
-
Insert the tool into the slot and unscrew the fuse holder completely.
-
Once loose, if the fuse holder doesn’t come out easily, use a pair of pliers to carefully pull it out.
🚨 If the fuse itself remains stuck inside the receptacle, refer to the follow-up instructions on how to safely remove it without disconnecting the chiller or draining the tub.

🚨 If the Fuse did not get stuck in receptacle, jump to Step 8
Step 4: Remove E-Box Cover
- Use a 2.5mm hex screwdriver to remove the 4 screws securing the e-box cover.
|
|
|
🚨 If the Fuse did not get stuck in receptacle, jump to Step 8
Step 5: Loosen Fuse Receptacle Nut & Remove Fuse

Use a pair of pliers to loosen the nut securing the fuse receptacle to the electrical box.
-
Once loosened, the fuse receptacle will have enough movement or play to work with.
-
Tap and gently wiggle the fuse holder back and forth to help loosen the fuse inside.
-
Continue wiggling until the fuse begins to slide out of the receptacle.

Once the fuse is exposed enough, grip and fully remove it from the holder

🚨 If the Fuse did not get stuck in receptacle, jump to Step 8
Step 6: Tighten Fuse Receptacle Nut

|
🚨 If the Fuse did not get stuck in receptacle, jump to Step 8
Step 7: Install E-box Cover

Using a 2.5mm hex screwdriver, begin installing the electrical box cover.

Slide the cover into place and screw each of the 4 screws.

Step 8: Replace Fuse
-
Remove the old fuse from the holder.
-
Insert the new replacement fuse into the fuse holder.
-
Push the fuse firmly into the holder so it’s fully seated before reinstalling.
|

Step 9: Install New Fuse
-
Place the fuse holder back into the fuse receptacle on the electrical box.
-
Push in and screw the holder in tightly to ensure a solid connection.
-
Make sure the fuse is fully seated and secure so that chiller vibrations do not loosen it.
-
Confirm that the fuse is not loose and the cap is flush with the electrical box.

Step 10: Test Plunge Power

Plug the GFCI power cord into a grounded outlet.
-
Press the reset button on the GFCI plug.
-
Look for an orange light in the small GFCI window to confirm power is active.
-
Listen for the startup sequence from the UI.
-
The UI display will flash “HI”, followed by the current water temperature.
- Wait 60 seconds to ensure power stays on

Power Down Plunge
- Pause the chiller by pressing the pause button on the UI
- ⚠️ Powering down the Plunge while it's in a cooling cycle can damage the chiller.
- Press the test button on the GFCI outlet to power down the Plunge.
- Unplug the GFCI outlet from the outlet.
🚨 Important: Do not power down the Plunge before pausing the chiller.

Step 11: Install Rear Cover

Carefully slide rear cover over chiller.
-
Ensure power cord is routed through the correct side.
-
Reinstall all 5 thumb nuts to secure rear panel.
-
Attach the left and right chiller vents.

Step 12: Finalize Installation
