Flow Meter Installation

When installing the flow meter, it is critical that the paddle wheel is positioned in the direction of water flow.

1. Identify the direction of water flow through the manifold.
2. Orient the flow meter so the paddle wheel rotates with the direction of the water flow.
3. The flow meter’s power cord should always face toward the back of the manifold and must run vertically when installed.
4. Before securing the flow meter, verify that the paddle wheel is correctly aligned with the water flow and that the power cord is positioned vertically.

Important: The direction of the paddle wheel is critical for proper flow-meter operation. Do not install the flow meter with the paddle wheel facing against the direction of water flow.
